If you think that is completely sexist (then i agree, but) wait until you hear this. On my way to university today i saw a poster for a bus service JUST FOR GIRLS. I inhaled through my nose quite dramatically as i walked past it and two girls who were making notes of the times of these busses. If they had said something feminie in response i might have starred obnoxiously at them and started to cry with anger. If there was a bus service just for men, the bus station would literally be burned down. Its not an opinion, its a fact. Women=Sexist hypocrites you say? Your words, not mine...
Anyway, rant over, I was happy enough to be at freshers week in my final year at Lancaster Uni last week and it was a real hoot. So many naive, young, unimpressioned girls to look after. Of course, i'm now sat with a crouched back from a kidney infection, a cough, headache, blocked nose and the slight feeling that i would rather die than carry on feeling like this, but all in all it was worth it.
The real ambiguos nature of a place like uni can give you great opportunities to meet new people. New classes, new societies, new socials, new nights out. Channeling that potential is difficult. Think of American Pie, 'Nova' did it quite well by joining the choir. I joined several groups. I joined the poker society to take advantage of women at the poker table and joined scan, the newspaper for students, to have intimate conversations with girls about work, stay up late writing an article with the, drink a bottle of wine and then use my penis as a weapon of beauty.
Pipe dreams, of course, but if you can meet as many new girls as you can, then you stand a much better chance of getting laid. You can worry about the 'love' part later...
