The wedding is booked
October 9th 2009 09:23
After checking every day for the rates to come out next year, I've finally booked the wedding.
No more fear of "What if that day is not available and we've already sent the invitations?"
To be 'registered' to have a wedding, I had to fill out various forms and fax a couple of our identity to the resort in Vanuatu. It now finally feel real now. We are getting married.
Hopefully at that time we won't have the problem of earthquake/tsunami etc. I know they've just had a warning.
Speaking of which, the news have been heartbreaking in the past couple of days with news of the earthquake and tsunami in Samoa and Indonesia and Phillipines (and flooding there too) and then this morning there was talk of a typhoon in Japan...
The world is falling apart!
Anyways, back to the wedding. I've put 11am for the wedding so we can have a lunch reception. I have no idea yet what I am going to wear or what not, but I have told everyone it's a smart casual event and no shoes. I think that's the extend of my organisation I think. Everything else is being organised by the resort.
I've also double checked and triple checked - a wedding in Vanuatu is recognised by the Australian government
Poor Kitty won't be able to come
