The importance of time
July 15th 2008 06:10
We got this as part of our time management training at work. I know it's old but it's still very motivational and make us realise how important that we do utilise whatever time we have been given in our lives.

To realise the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realise the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realise the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realise the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realise the value of ONE MINUTE, ask the person who just missed the train.
To realise the value of ONE SECOND, ask the person who just avoided an accident.
To realise the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal at the Olympics.

I had a day off today and so we went for a walk in the bush and along the beach. The day is beautiful and as it's whale season we were hoping to spot some whales. The last time we are at the outlook at Sawtell I saw some spurts of water and spotted a whale, but no such luck today. Nevertheless, it was a great morning walk.
It's actually really warm in Coffs. Last week we've had some really cold days, but today it's turned a nice 25degrees again. I am heading down to Sydney again this Friday for more training. It's funny the last 2 weeks we've finally been able to spend a whole fortnight together since I moved up here, and then I was off again. It makes us cherish the times we do spend together I suppose.
It's nice though coz I get to do a bit of shopping in Sydney for things we can't get in Coffs, such as some oriental tea and herbs and snacks, and I am never there for too long so Will is coping. He's been on school holidays so have been making all the meals at home. We had a nice pork roast last night and tonight we are having BBQed ribs. I am guessing when he starts uni again next week we'll have to start sharing the chores again.
Hope you are all well!
