The end of Insults pt 3.

The trilogy concludes. It may have been a four parter if i could actually remember what happened last night. Thats right, i was out...again, 3 times in 5 days. I went there, and apparently, i stole the t-shirt and threw up on it.
...but thats another story.
Monday evening i met up with her for a drink on campus. It was really nice. There was no awkwardness about the weekend, it was a casual chat about everything and anything, just like we had been doing. There is a bond, and it's really REALLY important you don't get a bond mixed up with feelings. Emotions and love are dangerous things, in this case, there are just a fabrication confused by a stupid sleepover session that shouldn't have happened. I think the only advice i can give in this situation is find out where you are straight away. Ask the awkard questions that cause blushes, it's probably the direct way that girls appreciate. Plus you get the answers you want and it won't leave you in the 'haze of confusion'.
Anyway, NO suggestion was made about a night out until AFTER we got home. It was the simplest question on MSN, 'town?' that started off a stupid night of drinking shot after shot.
Needless to say, i don't remember much of the night. The barmaid had to show me the price of the drink instead of telling me by the end of the night. I'm quite upset/proud she was still serving me. There are vague memories of piggy backs and dancing.
The next day we had a 30 minute phone conversation about the whole thing. She confirmed that she only wants to be friends and that i shouldn't tell anyone about what had happened. It's fair enough, i don't want to fuck things up between her and Poker guy, he's a really nice guy and a potential best mate.
But why lead me on is the question. Then i realised. One of the first major conversations i had with her, which i had mentioned in part 1 (maybe) was that she thought all boys hated her. Infact, she MUST know that that isn't true. Whether she knows she's a cock tease is another question, and the stark reality of it all is, i don't want to know.
She's a lovely girl, we should be best friends, we were great friends with a great bond for a few days, then bad things happened. I suppose you HAVE to take risks, in this case and in many cases for you all, risking a friendship, to find true love. Hopefully in a few days all will be resolved and things will get back to the way they should be. Hopefully.
I don't remember what i said to her last night, but i remember being uninterested and walking off. i sent her a message (unknown until this morning) saying, 'cock teases never win'. I'll leave it there.
