Parties and gatherings.

Is there a better place to meet a girl than at a party? Yes...but they are hard to come by and may include volunteer work with young offenders or the choir. Two things i frown upon.
I'll start this blog by saying how proud i am to have my own domain, i hope it's only the start of my journalistic career. I will also say that the spacebar on the computer i'm currently working on doesn't function properly, so i'm banging it down loud enough for people to turn their heads and asking the question, 'why is he doing that to that lovely keyboard!?' Well it's not lovely, sweetiepie, it's a shitting nightmare.
Anyway. I'm off to a party tonight, a party with lots of people i know, and lots of people i don't. There is a fine line between a good party and a shit party...if you're looking for girls. I went to a total of 6-7 'parties' over summer, all of them with my close friends. As a result, there wasn't even a glimmer of hope of me getting any. Now, i had some of the best nights of my life over summer, but if i were actually looking for action over summer, i would have been with a raised eyebrow, crossed arms and an upset, protruding, quivering lip that is lonely and needed a good kissing. Truth be told, i wasn't looking for girls over summer, and therefore i was fine with it. Now i'm back at Uni however, things are different and i'm out on the pull tonight.
I mentioned in an eariler post that getting off with friends of friends isn't always a great thing. However, getting off with 'kind of' friends of friends can be great. Get the 'friend' to introduce us and then slowly push them out of the conversation. They probably won't mind as most girls who are 'friends' hate each other anyway. Gotta love the bitching.
Being friendly and smiley and drunk is the key, and there should be places in the party that aren't too loud so you can actually have a decent conversation here and there. I'm sure we all know of the troubles of talking to a girl in a nightclub by now
And the thing with a birthday party -- the type i'm going to tonight -- is that it's all VERY jolly. I'm hoping my mutual wingman is on form, he was being Jewish before and saying how he wants to leave early and beforehand sit in the corner with a small bottle of beer(/vodka). I squinted aggressivly and shut his door. Of course, if there is no talent (which there is always the chance of) i'll join him...probably with the vodka. I'll write about the events in a few days.
