... and ONE precious thing has been found!
August 12th 2008 11:32
It's been 5 days and no one has seen my ring, until today, I was on cleaning duty at work and having to grab the dish washing liquid I knelt down to open the draw. A small, shiny thing caught my eye and would you believe it? My ring was staring at me in my face, right in the middle of the floor and no one had seen it all this time?!
Of course, it could be because it was stuck between places and have since fell out. So I am extremely glad that I found it, and had to call the poor jeweller (we had gone and ordered one on Sunday to replace it) that we no longer wanted the one we ordered. Thankfully there was no drama as no work had started on the ring so they were ok for the cancellation.
Will is thrilled. Both of us thought it was completely gone. Now it's on my fingers and I am determined not to lose it again.
On the other hand (no pun intended) - I am still trying to find the other precious thing I mentioned in the previous post - TIME. I still haven't got much, but happy with how I am spending what I have. Actually these two weeks will be the last struggle for a little while as it's the last 2 weeks of my last semester with my graduate diploma. Which means, after this I'll have two less things to do each week so I should find some more time to do some serious writing.
I've even started to practice the piano again on weekends that I don't have to work, and finding opportunities at work to practice my German with customers who speak German. So all is working out quite well.
Going back to Sydney for a quick visit this weekend. Will be good to see mum and dad.

No - we did actually put in an order for one Sara, but as I found the ring the day after I called up to cancel. Gladly they made the mistake of not asking for a deposit so I got away with it!
