How do pricks pull?

Back to a more on topic, bitter post. Thanks for the messages and that for my last post, much appreciated. I'll apologise in advance for the foul language used in this one; i was drunk and 'Red-Ross mad', which i'm sure many friends fans will know about all too well...
So, after a night out around campus, losing certain rugby related events, a few of us decided to go to the Sugarhouse, the unversity run nightclub. Demoralized, we were searching for an opportunity to get so drunk we wouldn’t remember the night before. I’d written to a friend about plans and he replied with, ‘I want to get so drunk I'm thorougly upset by my actions tomorrow’. It was set out to be a great night.
Of course, it wasn’t.
It was shit.
Everyone that was too bothered with the rugby was too upset to go out, so it wasn’t even a conversation topic. Apart from myself, everyone seemed to be very fucking chirpy. I nearly lost my temper.
Then, after having a decent dance with a few lovely girls. I sat down to have a drink. I smiled at a girl and she smiled back. It wasn’t a ‘oh my god lets fuck’ smile. Just a friendly smile. I’m not the guy to prounce around, preying on every girl that makes eye contact with you. Some guys do, each to their own I suppose. Besides, i had already decided in my mind that i wsn't out to pull, just get mortally drunk.
There are two very distinct styles of approach with girls. The nice guy approach and the twat approach. The latter will score you many girls, the former will score you less, but much more attractive girls in the long run. I’ve always been the ‘nice guy‘. It’s never really worked out yet and my oh my, it REALLY grinds my gears. Fucking nice guy.
I’m a complete hypocrite I know, but certain guys just don’t deserve anything. Arrogance, abrasiveness and just plain rudeness won’t get you to the peak in life. Yet, these types of people pull every night. Why? Because girls love it. Ready for the blunt, ironic, sexist objectionable dysfunction?
Girls love pricks.
Search for any related topic on the internet, ‘girls love pricks’ and ‘girls love twats’ and you’ll get some very naughty pages. Initially it seems, one must think, why on earth would girls want the prick and not the nice guy? It doesn’t make much sense to anyone without a social life, but arrogance is attractive. That’s the bottom line. Tonight in case. After 10 minutes had passed a young lad, known as a distant friend -- that would screw you over to pull a girl -- sat next to me, with the very same girl that I had shared a friendly smile with.
He asked, ’do you find this girl attractive?!’ to which I replied ‘of course, what are you trying to do?’ I realised straight away he wasn't trying to set us up.
‘Just say no’ he continued. Just say no i thought?? What type of plan is this? I had no idea what was going on, but I had to figure that an ego-trip was underway and he thought he had already pulled the girl, had seen me looking at her and was showing her off as some kind of prize. Of course, he went home alone. I smiled and said and said quietly to the girl, 'be careful, the herpes won't kill you but the personality might', she laughed and we went our seperate ways. I'm sure we'll meet again.
Nevertheless, why bother with this charity shop, flower buying nonsense?? From now on, I think I should just say how fat a girl looks in the dress she is wearing, hit her in the stomach really hard, give her a kiss on the cheek and laugh about it, introduce myself to all of her friends, buy them all a drink and ignore them for the rest of the night. It’ll probably work.
But I am probably bitter…and angry.
I think for everyone who isn’t always successful on nights out, there is some hope. You don’t have to be good looking to get the girls. You don’t even have to have a great personality. Case above in point. Confidence is a virtue that gets you everywhere. You should never speak to a girl like she is some kind of alien. Girls you find attractive are the same as your friends, and you should speak to them just as. It might be difficult, but get a grip, we’re all supposed to be pricks, I think.
Please visit this site, Really Long Link -- it might literally be the most contradictory and brilliantly stupid internet page ever created.
