She admits she likes my best friend, should I continue to date her?

I can see your eyes rolling already, but these are the type of questions (and answers that come with it) that keeps me entertained during my train trip home.
I pick up the mX almost everyday, and there are two regular columns in it that I konw everyone on the train gets their eyes stuck on. The Overheard, and Here's Looking At You, which comes with a bit 'Lost in Love' where people can send in relationship questions and we (readers) can text in our answers.
We've all read something similar - the Dear Dolly type relationship troubles littered in gossip newspapers and magazines. I've been reading these things since high school, more for the fascination of what people are actually asking, than actually being interested in the answers - because, let's face it, the answers are always obvious.
Funnily enough, I do remember girlfriends sitting together asking each other very obvious questions. It seems like those of us who do ask, don't really want an answer, but rather, want moral support on the answer we've already chosen for us.
But, having said that, some of the questions have in fact given me some short story ideas, so I am getting something out of it after all!
